Midterm Project - CD cover...

Today, I am still planning how I should be design and work on my midterm project. We were ask to make a CD cover for our midterm exam next week. We were also given some 3 sites as a tool for our CD cover. We can use both Photoshop and Illustrator or whichever we prefer using...

Illustrator Project 3 - Symbols

Live trace on Illustrator is a very useful tool, especially when making an image clearer. You can make an image into whatever sizes you want without affecting its pixels because some images are very pixelated and can't be resize without ruining its looks.

My top two well liked symbols are the Monkey symbol and the Blueworld symbol, they seem to be very amusing to the eyes.

Illustrator Project 2

The second project in illustrator is a bit easier than the first project because I am a bit more familiar with the tools in illustrator. It still took me a while to finish this because I kept messing the color of the circles, especially putting colors o the gradient circles.

Illustrator Project 1

In this project, we were to use the tools such as pen, pencil, shape (square, circles, stars, etc..), and direction tool. This was a pain since it was my first time using illustrator than photoshop. Directing the shapes of a line in order to make the shapes in the above figure with black color was such as the rabbit, clover and the bird was a total pain. Mistakes can easily be made...

Photoshop Project 2

Our second project was the same as the first project for photoshop with a slight difference. In this project, we were to place different sets images in one and each letter, so that it would look as though the images in one letter of the name would show as one image instead of multiple completely different pictures. In this project, each letter has at least 5 pictures placed in it. The First 3 letters has at least 7-9 pictures.

It's kind of amazing how multiple pictures may seem as if it were one image.:)

Photoshop Project 1

This was our first project for photoshop, in which we had to choose a non-distracting background. We were instructed to put different pictures inside each letter of our name. We could put any pictures that we wanted and somewhat fit the background in someway, or the color. We could basically put any pictures in each letters as an intro to photoshop, so that in the next project we would have an idea how to create the same would but with images that can go together.

Welcome to my Graphic Design blog!

Hey guys! It has been a while since I visited this blog and have not posted any art work yet but I have had two graphic design projects done. I'm not sure how to convert it to an image file yet, but when I figure it out I'll be posting it here.

As of right now, my class is done with Adobe Photoshop and currently working on Adobe Illustrator. We are familiarizing the tools on illustrator and how to apply them when designing. Illustrator (to me) is much more complicated than photoshop. The pen tool is a bit of a pain when making a figure image.

The class is about to be over (10sec) so I'll get back to you soon for updates on my progress.
